GERMANY’S SEIZED WAR GOLD
A New York message to the "Liverpool Post” states: It is learned hero in financial circles that the gold which Germany seized during the war in Russia and Rumania is being shipped to Switzerland. Here it is being hall-marked in the Swiss Mint, afterwards being reshipped to America. About .£1,169,000 worth of gold has arrived in New York jn these circumstances. Some financial experts here estimate that Germany pos"sesses .£40,000,000 worth of Russian and Rumanian gold, all of which was seized during the war. All this gold will eventually reach here, it is stated, according to the plans already made.
