A VITAL PROBLEM
Sir,—Your leading article in Tuesday’s Dominion headed “A Vital Problem" is timely, and I sincerely hope it will result in Parliament dealing vigorously aniT effectively, and above all quickly, a matter which is of incalculable importance to New Zealand, Jt is not a question in which the Government only should give a lend; the whole weight of the farmers and the business people of the community is necessary for the settlement of this great national question. Men like Messrs. W. ’J. Polson and Stuart Wilson are to be heartily congratulated on, the stand they have taken, and it is to bo sincerely hoped that the Government will assist the movement to' the fullest possible extent and without delay. Dallying with this question may mean widespread distress, even national bankruptcy.—l am etc., PATRIOT.
