Shepherd (of the Australian High Commissioner’s office) discussed tho war graves question with the Belgian War Office graves officers at Poperingho and Bruges, and submitted improvements to the methods. Ho everywhere encountered kefn willingness to assist Australia. The ofiicials regarded Mr. Sh*pherd’s suggestions, winch the latter believes will satisfy the Australian public, as calculated to prove more effective than the present methods. Mr. 'impherd is rejxirting to the Commonwealth on the whole subject of war graves in France and Belgium.—Aus.-N.Z. liable Assn. ’
