The voral, instrumental, and elocutionary items rendered at Miss L. Napier’s concert on at tho Sailors’ Friend Society were loudly encored. The perf-'-mers were "isre-. Hiegel. T »- tfler, TTavnian, Ivhitefords, Gilpin I. Beer, fTiieUcr, and Messrs. Rosen, Beer, King, Boxer, -McDonald, Griffiths. Misses Beer and Napier were nt the piano. The competitions afforded mucK pleasure to the men. They were donated by Misses Ramsey and Weston, and went to the AVnimann and Remuera.
