EDUCATION BOARD
LIST OF APPOINTMENTS. As several headmasters in tho Wellington district have recently retired, the Education Board has been busy lately appointing their successors. Mr. J. C. Burns has been appointed headmaster at the Petono ’West School, in succession to Mr. D. F. Bedmgfield; Mr. G. R. Kidson succeeds Mr. F,' Hem pieman as headmaster at tho Seatoun School; and Mr. B. Anderson is Mr. Worboy’s successor at the Kilbirnie School. Mrs. K. A. Howard has been appointed head teacher at the Cross Creek School. Other anpointments made are as follow:—Otaki (infant mistress), Miss F. F. Hardy; Springlands (third . assistant), Miss I. Nevison; Upper Hutt (assistant), Mr. E. K. RishwortJi; Brooklyn (assistant), Miss I. A. Gunn; Eastern Hutt (assistant), Mtb.- L. N.' C. McLean: Rongomai (solo teacher), Miss B. A. Ban-ell: Mount Cook Infant (first assistant), Miss A. M. Cross; Island Bay (assistant), "Miss L. A. Lake.
