(average); wether and maiden ewe, Fight 5Sd. per lb., heavy 4| ner lb.; ewe. light 41d. per lb., heavy 3Jd. per lb. Beef prices unchanged; market weak. Last quotations:—Ox. hinds 51d. per lb., fores 3?d. ner lb.: cow, hinds 4d. per lb., fares 21d. per lb. Me«s"s. Turnbull and Co. have received a cablegram from Messrs. AV. Weddel and Co., Ltd., reading as follows:—“Tallow market unchanged, nominally. At auction nothing was sold. Demand very poor.” Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited. report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date November 10: — Frozen Meat. —Quotation New Zealand prime crossbred lamb.
