Market inactive; quotations more or less nominal. New Zealand Frozen Meat.—Lamb, 7?cl. per lb. (average); wether and maiden ewe, Fight 5Sd. per lb., heavy 4| ner lb.; ewe. light 41d. per lb., heavy 3Jd. per lb. Beef prices unchanged; market weak. Last quotations:—Ox. hinds 51d. per lb., fores 3?d. ner lb.: cow, hinds 4d. per lb., fares 21d. per lb. Me«s"s. Turnbull and Co. have received a cablegram from Messrs. AV. Weddel and Co., Ltd., reading as follows:—“Tallow market unchanged, nominally. At auction nothing was sold. Demand very poor.” Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited. report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date November 10: — Frozen Meat. —Quotation New Zealand prime crossbred lamb. Canterbury heavy 7 7-Sd., Canterbury light BJd.„ North Island heavy 7}d,. North Island light 7RI. to Sd. Demand for New Zealand lamb poor owing to cold weather; market weaker. Quotation New Zealand prime cross bred mutton,. Canterbury heavy 42'1.. Canterbury light Cid.. North Island heavy +ld., North Island light sjd. Demand for New Zealand mutton limit ed: Market dull and tone generally easier. Quotation New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds <'i-d., fores ltd. Demand for Nc-» ZeUami beef better owing to co’d weather; market firm. Quotation good : average qualify crossbred lamb. Australian heavy fid., Australian light 73d. Demand for Australian lamb limited.
