HIVERINA ARRIVES. The Riverina arrived from Sydney yesterday morning. The vessel cleared the New South Wales port at noon on Saturday, and fine weather, with the exception of two days, was experienced until arrival at Wellington. Tho voyage was uneventful. The Riverina is to sail on the return voyage at midday to-morrow. , ATTEMPTED ROBBERY ON : RTV ERINA Shortly after nopn yesterday an attempt was made to burglarise the cabins of the Riverina, now in port. The vessel’s interior was traversed by tho wouldbe thief but. while “doing” one of tho rooms the man was apprehended. Ho was taken away under police escort. KAIKOURA FOR NEW ZEALAND. Cabled advice was yesterday received by the Now Zealand Shipping Company to the effect, that the Kaikoura sailed from .Liverpool on November 5 for Auckland., Wellington. Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers via Panama. CITY OF CHESTER AT' AUCKLAND. The City of Chester, which reached Auckland from New York early yesterday morning, is due at Wellington on Monday next. The vessel has for discharge 570 tons of cargo, included in which is a large quantity of inflammable oil. Unon completing discharge here the City of Chester will go on to Lyttelton. Dunedin, Melbourne. Sydney, and Brisbane. COAL FOR WELLINGTON. The Union Company advised that the Kaiwarra, with a cargo of coal from Newcastle, is expected to reach Willington on November 25. . THE MATAKANA. Tho Mataknna. is now due at Wellington from Gisborne on Sunday. Following upon the completion of her discharge here the vessel will proceed to Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, sailing finally from the Dominion on December 10. KARORI FROM NEWCASTLE. The Union Company’s Karori, with gen. oral cargo from Newcastle, via Auckland and Napier, is due here about November 18 WAI MANA'S MOVEMENT® The S.S. and A., steamer Waimana. which arrived late on Tuesday night from Gisborne, is to sail on Monday next for London, via Cape Horn. RARANGA'S movements. The Rnranga is timed to leave Auckland on IVednesday next for Wanganui, where she is to load. Due at Wellington on November 26. the Raranga will sail for London on December 1. PALOONA FOR. WELLINGTON. The Palonna is to sail from Svdney today for Wellington direct.
