PETROLEUM CARGOES
Replying to a question id which Air. Wilford suggested that under tho existing regulations persons might smoke alongside a deck cargo of petroleum and not be prosecuted, tho Minister of Marine (Hou. D. 11. Guthrie) yesterday stated that tho regulations would be amended so that tho prohibition against smoking in such circumstances should bo made quite explicit. The fortifications around Paris aro being torn down. This will open vp an area of 2164 acres for expansion.
