COMMITTAL ON CHARGE OF PUBLICATION OF LIBEL. London, November 8. During tho heaing of the Bottomley v. Bigland case the Magistrate stated that on tho question of publication of the libel there must be a committal, and if a defence was raised it must 'he a statutory defence, which must bo raised in another Court. —Aus.-N.Z.
