THE BOMB OUTRAGE IN PARIS. (Rcc. October 24, 7.15 p.m.) London, October 23. The Paris correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph” says it has been established that the bomb thrown in the conflict between tho police and Communists on Friday was of English manufacture. Fragments are mentical with those found after the Embassy explosion.' Mr. Herrick has received 500 threatening letters. Many American consulates have likewise been threatened. The Central News correspondent states that anticipating Communist disturbances, tcni thousand troops were prepared for immediate action. Tho day passed quietly, but at Marseilles Communists bombed the police, who arrested twenty persons—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [A message from Paris dated. October 19 stated that a. box of perfume, addressed' to Mr. Myron Herrick at the American Embassy, was delivered at his private house., and opened by his valet, whereon a violent explosion destroyed the box and contents, and injured tho valet Mr. Herrick had previously received 1 and ignored letters requesting his intervention on behalf of two Italian Communists under trial for murder in America.]
