“Inquirer.”—“Arterial roads” means generally the main highways serving the country as a whole. The Government proposes to take over control of four arterial roads: (1) North Auckland to Wellington, via To Kuiti and Taranaki; (2) Gisborne to ’Wellington; (3) Nelson to Invercargill, via Kaikotira; and (4) Nelson to Hokitika.
