QUEENSLAND POLITICS
SENSATIONAL CHARGE AGAINST LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLOR. (Rec. October 13, 11.5 p.m.) Brisbane, October 13. A sensation was caused in the Legislative Council by the Minister for Mines, the Hon. A. J. Jones, charging the Hon. E. W. H. Fowlcs with attempting to bribe him. The matter will be reported to the House.—Press Assn.
