Newton King, Ltd. report:—ln addition to tho special pedigree Jersey bull sales nold at Kaponga, New Plymouth, and Stratford, wo have conducted tho following :—At Walwakalho, on October 7: The majority wore pedigree and grade Jerseys. Buyers wore in attendance from all parts of Taranaki, also from as far south ns Waverley and Palmeeston North, and a most satisfactory clearance was inado. Practically' the whole entry of Jerseys was cleared. Shorthorns and Frleslans were In little or no demand. Pedigree Jersey yearlings, to 34 guineas; 2-year-old, to 42 guineas; aged to 30 guineas; grade Jersey yearlings, to £18; 2-year-old, to £26; 3-year-old, £l5 to £25; Friosians, to £l3 At Stony River, on October 10. there was a good yarding of nice quality bulls. Jerseys especially, and a spirited sale was made. Pedigree Jersey yearliugs, to 45 guineas; 3-year-old, to 45 guineas; 4-ycar do, to 50 guineas; grade Jerseys, yearlings, to £l5; 2-year-old. to £2O; 3-year do., to £36; Shorthorns, to £lO 10a
