It will bo remembered that last year the Academy had a oneman show of pictures by the late Ja-inejj Nairn, and the policy will bo to feature artists of tho past and present in rotation. It. is now announced that tho -Academy invite persons who own paintings by Mr. Welch to lend same to the special exhibition, and that those who are willing to do this should forward name and addresß to Ihe secretary, Mr. H. M. Gore, 51 Hobson Crescent, before Monday next-.
