“CULPABLE HOMICIDE”
CORONER’S VERDICT AT INQUEST. Bv Pr f "-' a A acnointin’J. Invercargill, October 10. An inquest was held at Queenstown concerning the death of the illegitimate child of ft domestic servant. The medical evidence showed t'hat death was duo fo suffocation caused by bruises on the throat. The Coroner returned a verdict of culpable homicide, and the mother was remanded on a charge of murder.
