Replying io tho representations of the Dominion Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ ‘Union, the Alinister of Agricull tire, the Hon. AV. Nosworthy, in a letter read nt yesterday's meeting of the executive, pointed out that tho present method of nominating members of the Board of Agriculture was laid down by the Board of Agriculture Act, and consequently could not lie altered, excepting by Parliament. The present bom-l’s term of office did not expire until 19'13, and the question of whether ho present method should be altered before the next election of the board would be considered in tho meantime. The executive decided to approach the Minister with a request for direct representation of the union on the board
