REPLY TO BRITISH NOTE OF PROTEST FOREIGN OFFICE MISLED BY FORGERS By Telegraph—Preus Association—Copyright London, October 8. M. Litvinoff has replied (o the British Noto which protested against Bolshevik Intrigues against British, interests in Asia. He declares that tho charges aro based on imaginary facts and unchecked loose information obtained from dubious sources. It was obvious that all tho reports and utterances quoted by the British Note were invented, forged, or falsified. The British Foreign Office had been misled by a gang of professional forgers and swindlers. M. Litvinoff claims that sinc:e the conclusion of the Anglo-Russian Agreement, tho Soviet had had no dealing with Indian revolutionaries. Tho Soviet representatives in Asia had been strictly instructed to refrain from anti-British. propaganda. M. Litvinoff complains that tho attitude of the British Government lately has been unfriendly to Russia, and adds that when Britain shows her readiness to adjust the differences in a business like way she will find a ready Soviet response.—Reuter.
