AUCKLAND EAST SEAT
THREE CANDIDATES ANNOUNCED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, October 10. The Liberal Leader, Mr. T. M. AVilford has announced that he has accepted the Hon. G. AV. Rnssell as t’he official Liberal candidate for tho Auckland East seat. Mr. J. A. Lee, president of the Auckland Labour Party, has been selected by a ballot of unions affiliated to the Representation Committee, as the Labour candidate for tho seat. He is the holder of the D.C.M., and lost an arm at Messincs. Mr. G. H. Foster announces his candidature as a straight-out Independent.
