Canon Williams, when referring to the martrydom of Bishop Patfeson nt Rt. Alary’s Cathedral (Auckland) on Tuesday. After relating how the Bishon and his companions were murdered by the treacherous natives, he said that some time afterwards two natives from the dreaded island 'were blown in their ceno 250 miles to the Solomon Group. Here they wore rescued by Bishop Selwyn, who took the unfortunate islanders back to their home, in Nukapu. “This incident brought tho mission baok," concluded the speaker. "Truly, God moves in a mysterious way.*
