The League football match between the 1 Australasian team and the Hull-King-ston Rovers was won by the former by 26 points to 6. The weather was fine ■’ ancl there was an attendance of thirteen thousand; In the early stages of the game Rovers were vigorous and fiery, . l but the visitors soon penetrated the j home defence and kept the upper hand, i At half-time the Australasians' score was ‘' 13 and thie Rovers’ 2. Blinkhorn, Gray, and Horder secured tries. Norman con- : verted two. Bradshaw got the goal for the Rovers. Shortly after the j'g start of the second spell as • a result of illegal play Bradshaw kicked two pen- ■ allies. The visitors maintained their"' superiority to the end.
