On Saturday evening lat Dustin’s Rooms, tho Wellington College Old Boys’ Football Club held their annual smoke concert. Old boys from all parts of the Dominion had assembled in Wellington for the occasion, and a very pleasant evening was spent. Among those present wore Mr. Firth, late headmaster of the college, and Mr. Creswell, tho present headmaster. Numerous toasts were honoured, end several musical items were contributed. A gold modal for the most: improved player in each of tho three teams the club had entered in the competitions was presented to the following:—Junior grade. S.. Bedell; third grade. O. 15. Dormer; fpurth grade, IT. E. Binning. Messrs. ■J. Gauntlett and l E. Brierley were each made handsome presentations in recognition of their services io the* club during the present season. The Old Boys hope to enter a sontor team in the competition next season.
