The classification of returned soldiers who were employed as cleaners and drivers on tho New Zealand railways prior to going to the war was discussed by the executive of the Now Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association at the week-end. It whs stated l that returned men wore not given credit for the whole of the time they were away, and that some of those who remained in New Zealand now took seniority. Mr. T.
