SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

Miss V. Mueller and her assistants provided the concert at tho Sailors’ Friend Society on Tuesday. The performers were Misses Ramsey, James, V. Mueller, Ruby Ramsey, and Stubbs, and Messrs: V. S. James, Green,- Boeck, Holman, Ross, and White. Mijd Stubbs was at. tho piano. Mr. Moore spoke ’on temperance matters and names were added to the pledge book. The prizes for the competitions were donated by Mrs. Gordon Smith and Miss .Tames, and went to the Komata and Port Bowen.
