Since then he has passed through all branches of the office, and within recent years le Ins filled the positions of inspector in the head office, local Deputy Public Trustee nt Dunedin, and local Deputy Pi|lm Trustee at Auckland. He has been closely identified with sport of various kinds, having represented the Wellington province both as a cricketer and as a Rugby footballer. At one time he held for some vears the position of chairman of the Wellington Rugby Union and committeeman of the New Zealand Rugby Union. ________
