BILLIARDS

Only two games in the tournament at Billiards, Limited, were played last night. Ivan Ingley, tho South Wairarapa crack, had some difficulty in defeating P. Williams, and Pythian had a victory b- a narrow margin from Gilterd. Ingley played a fiua game, and his average was good. He made breaks of 23, 25, 35, 31, and 54. On Monday night, at 7 o’clock, Tucker, the back-marker, will play T. Ingley, and Billman will play Priddle at 8 o’clock. The winner of tho Tucker-Ingley game is to play E. R. Bull, and the winner of tho BillmanPriddle game will play Renouf. At !) o’clock Pythian may possibly play his qualifying game for tho semi-finals.
