MEETINGS PROPAGATING VIOLENT CHANGES FORBIDDEN JUNKERS WILL CONTINUE ACTIVITIES By Telegraph—Preen Association—Copyright (Rec. August 30, 7.45 p.m.) London, August 30. Tho "Express’s” Berlin correspondent says that excitement prevails throughout Germany over Herr Erzebcrger’s assassination, and is increasing almost to a panic. Tho Cabinet yesterday issued a decree forbidding meetings or tho issue of periodials propagating violent changes in government or disobedience to laws. An accompanying proclamation states that national emergencies demand that unscrupulous and misguided elements’ machinations he opposed with an iron band. The Government is determined to undertake what the actions of foes to the constitution make necessary, and intends to show unrelenting severity against ,any and every insurrection. Leaders of the Junker organisations openly. declare that (n spite of tho decree they mean to continue their activities, daring the Government to take proceedings against them.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
