GOOD TEMPLARS
A attendance was present at the weekly session of Anzac Lodge No. 25 held in the Rechobitd Chambers, Ghuznee Street, /in Saturday evening. The meeting wds presided over, by the C.T., Bro. J. Warren, one candidate having received a unanimous ballot in his favour was duly initiated a member of tho Order of Good Templars. Reports submitted were received and adopted, after which recess followed. The item for tho evening was, "A discussion on the .recommendations of the last G.L. session." Bro, George Price G. Messenger 'was elected to the chair, and gave a full report of the work as embodied in the state of the Order Committee’s report. A very animated . and helpful discussion followed. Special committees were formed to deal with the mission phase of tho work, viz., probationers, absentees, youngi members on transfer, and new arrivals. A new Standing Committee was decided on, to bo designated "The Lookout Committee,” whose sole duties will be to secure new additions. Supper was served by the Harmony Committee. Votes of thanks pnssod to visiting members of tho Star of Wellington and to Bro. Price terminated a very profitable and enjoyable meeting.
