A meeting of tho Management Committee of tho Wellington Cricket Association was held on Wednesday night, there being present Messrs. C. G. Wilson (chairman), H. J. Buck, M. J. Crombie, W. G. Hughes, C. E. Edmonds, and Roy S. Johnston (hon. secretary).

Draft report of the season's workings l was submitted and approved. It was de'cided to hold the annual general meeting on September 22. Tho Wellington Centre New fierdancl Amateur Swimming Association wroto requesting that next season's star fixtures be so arranged as not to clash with the Now Zealand swimming champion*hlps, and it was decided to do everything possible by way of assisting. The secretary wa.s directed to ask tho New Zealand Cricket Council whether any action was being taken te invite an Australian team to New .Zealand, and if not to recommend that the North v. South Island match be played at Wellington.
