In furtherance of its desire to improve commercial relations with Australia, the Italian Government has' invited General Ramaciotti to attend the international Sample Fair and the Commercial Conferences to ,be held in September at Trieste, where all the neighbouring states of Central and Eastern Europe using the port as a purchasing and distributing. centre will be represented. A conference at Milan, the centre of the Italian wool trade, will follow. General Ramaciotti will spend six months in Italy before returning to Australia.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn
