AUCKLAND BEAT WEST COAST. By Triegrapb.—Pres# Association. Greymouth, August 24. In a League representative football match, Auckland beat West Coast by 47 points to 7. Tho winners scored 39 points in the second spell, the West Coast puck having previously held them. Tho visitors’ speed against a weak defence was responsible for their eleven tries, seven of which wore converted. The best of the Auckland, team were Withenail. FJvnn, Yardley, I’eckbani, Thomas, and Stormont. For West Coast the most prominent players were Long, Blight, M'Elwee, and Williams.
