A BIG THEFT CHARGE
GOVERNMENT'CLERK ARRESTED.

Patrick John Butler, aged 21, a clerk employed in the State Coal r Office, was arrested to-day" on. a charge of stealing £2033 4s. 4d. Butler was brought before the Magistrate, and remanded to August 26i It is stated that the money has been recovered.
