In deference to public opinion, Cabinet has abolished tho 10.30 p.m. closing licensing order, substituting one o’clock in the morning. Cardinal Faulhabea, addresamg ex-sol-diers in Munich, condemned the Bavarians’ imitation of tho Berliners’ drinking strong nlo. Ho said: “Bavaria ought not to imitate every brainless innovation from Berlin. Bavaria ought to prevent the remodelling of her schools on the Prussian pattern.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
