REPLACEMENT OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS
Sir,—ln filial reply to “Also An Old. Player,” I may say that 1. mentioned the “Field” and the “Sportsman” because they are the (wo leading English papers, one a weekly, the other a daily, dealing with outdoor sports at Home, and the "Field” at least is to be found in every large and up-to-date Public Library in the Dominion. From his last letter if. would seem that “Also An Old Player” is probably far as yet from being an old man.. May I. as one who is near that period of life, counsel him not to get heated over matters of comparatively small imporrmice, and not to believe that he lias a monopoly of sincerity of belief ?— I” am, etc., AN OLD PLAYER.
