AN ELDERLY BRIDEGROOM
PRESIDENT HARDING’S FATHER MARRIES. (Rec. August 12, 5.5 p.m.) Vancouver, August 11. Dr. Harding, 76 years of age, father of President Harding, practising as a physician at Marion, motored here with Miss Alice Stevens, aged 53, his office nurse for many years, and was quietly married by a Presbyterian minister.— Aus.-N.Z. President Harding expressed surprise when his secretary informed him that his father had been suddenly married. .He was not informed of the plan. Dr. Harding had been a widower lor many real’s.'—A us.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
