Tho Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. W. Nosworthy) was present nt the conference, along with the Director-General of Agriculture (Dr. C. J Rea.ke-6. and Mr. Loes, head of the Inineri.nl Supplies Department. Tlio proceedings were in committee, but it is . understood thnt c“rtain arrangements were come to, which will shortly be made the subject of an official statement.
