MAGAZINE EXPLOSION IN JAPAN
Tokio, August 9. An explosion occurred at the artillery magazine at Kinoshimu, and it is reported that the killed and injured number two hundred.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. A HUNDRED KILLED. (Rec. August 10, 9.30 p.m.) Tokio, August 9. The first reports of the Kinoshima explosion over-estimated the casualties. It is now reported that only a hundred were killed.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
