One of the needs of the Young Citizens' League was for more Tenders for the girls; women who were actuated by a love of the young growing mind of the country and a desire to help build up a better manhood and womanhood. It was not the “goody goody" people who were needed, but tho bright minded and normal intellect, with a desire to help its country to higher life through the instrumentality of its future citizens.
