The Union Company’s steamer Manuka Is timed to leave Sydney- at noon to-day for Wellington. She is due on Mondav. and is timed to sail on tho return trip on Tuesday. WHAKATANE AT NEWPORT NEWS. The Now Zealand Shipping Company have received cabled advice that the Whakatane. which sailed from Lyttelton for London on June 22. ' left Newport News in continuation of her voyage on July 29. PORT STEVENS WITH COAL. The C. and D. liner Port Stevens left Barry with a cargo of coal on Saturday last for Auckland. She 1» due at Auckland about September 16. The Ngahere is bar-bound at Wanganui and is not expected to arrive here until Thursday night or Friday. The Ngakuta is expected to arrive here at 6 a.m. on Thursday from Whangarei. A Press Association message from Auckland states that the barque Raupo, from Newcastle, arrived off Tiri at 3 pm. yesterday and was ordered to Wellington. Advice received last night stated that the Breeze was bar-bound at Wanganui, but was expected to get out this morning. Her departure for Lyttelton, Timaru. and Dunedin has been postponed until toThe Ripple arrived last night from Napier. and in view of her early arrival her departure has been moved forward to this evening-. She had been advertised to sail to-morrow. The Ngakuta, which is due to-morrow with cement from Whangarei, is timed to get away later in tho day for Aew Plymouth. She will take cargo for that P °The Opua wa-s due yesterday at Nydla, Bay from Lyttelton. She will load timber there for Lyttelton and will then come here, being due next w-eek.
