DAVIS CUP
BRITISH AND AUSTRALASIAN TEAMS. (Rec. August 3, 5.5 p.m.) Pittsburg, August 2. Both the British and Australasian tennis teams are practising on the Allegheny Country Club’s courts, on which the Davis Cup matches will be played. Tho Australasians are now acclimatised, and express confidence that they will make a butter showing than they did in Canada. According to present plans, Anderson and Todd will play in the doubles, Anderson and Hawkes engaging in, the first day's singles. Wooanam and Turnbull are likely to play in the British doubles, and Lowe and Woosnam in the singles.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
