The production of coal in the North Island during the first half of the present year amounted to 253,447 term, as against 229,906 tons in the corresponding period of 1920. The production for tho firat half of 1919 was 202,408 tone, and for tho first half of 1918, 271,730 tons. The number of men employed in the North' Island mines now is about 1063. The number in 1920 was 964, in 1919 939, and in 1918 913. Don’t take risks with your now invention.
