REPARATION SHIPS
BEING SOLD TO FOREIGN BUYERS. London, August 1. Mr. Stanley Baldwin (President of the Board of Trade), in the House of Commons. stated that the reparation ships were now being sold to foreign buyers. He thought it undesirable and unnecessary to maintain the restrictions on private sales which had operated since the armistice.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
