The New Zealand Shipping Company advis9 that tho Waimate. bound from Wellington to London arrived at Newport News on Monday last, and sailed the following day. The Waimea has been bar-bound at Westport, but is duo here to-day. Her departure for Westport and Greymouth has been delayed until to-morrow. Tho Zita sailed yesterday for Picton. but. in the evening put into Worser Bay owing to stress of weather.

GENERAL STEAMSHIP CORPORATION. The Weet Hixton is due at Auckland about August 5 from San Francisco with about 300 tons of general cargo. Tim West Camargo is to leave San Francisco at the enxi of this month for Auckland. Sho is due there about August 26. This vessel has been fitted with 300 ton* of space for refrigerated cargo, and in all probability she will load frozen carga In New Zealand for Honolulu and Pacifio Coast porta. The Las Vegas is to load at San Francisco next month, and will be due in Auckland early in September. , . All the vessels of the corporation s fleet are to be insulated for carrying refrigerated cargo. ______ MATATUA AT LONDON. The S.S. and A. Line advise that the Mutat.ua, which sailed from Wellington ou June 3, arrived at London on Wednesday morning. KARU AND CALM. The Karu is due from Lyttelton today to load for Wanganui. She is timed to sail to-morxow. The Calm should arrive to-morrow from Bluff, and is expected to sail on Monday for Lyttelton. Timaru. and Dunedin. ARAWA TO SAIL TO-MORROW. The S.S. and A. liner Arawa is limed to sail at daybreak to-morrow for tendon, via Monte Video and Teneriffe. Passengers must go oq board to-night. MANUKA LEAVES SYDNEY. The Union Company’s steajaer Manuka left Sydney at 3 n.ra. on Wednesday with 186 passengers aboard. She is due on Sunday, and is expected to sail on th* return trip next Thursday. KIA ORA. DELAYED. The S.S. and A. liner Kia Ora will be unable to leave New Plymouth for IVanganui until to-morrow. Consequently sho is not expected here until to-day week. Her departure for Australia and London nas been postponed until July 30. KAWATIRI FROM NEWCASTLE. The Kawatlri was timed to leave Newcastle for Wellington yesterday with a cargo of coal. She is due about next Wednesday. THE WEST HEPBURN. According to a radio message received by Messrs. Dxugety and Co. from the steamer West Hepburn, en route from New York to Auckland, Wellington, and New Plymouth, the vessel expects to arrive at Auckland to-day. She should arrive here on' July 30. PORT BOWEN AT PANAMA. The O. and D. liner Port Bowen, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, continued her voyage from Panama last Monday. She is due at Auckland on August 12, and at Wellington a week later. LEITRIM REPORTED. A Press Association message states that the Federal liner Leitrim, which left Lyttelton on Juno 24 for Liverpool, arrived at Panama on Wednesday. Tho Corinna is due from New Plymouth to-morrow, and is expected to sail later for Lyttelton and Dunedin. Both the Kittawa and Kamo hare been delayed, and are not expected here until Sunday. They are both bringing coal, the Kamo from Greymouth and the Kittawa from Westport. Mr. J. Williamson has signed on the Zita as first mate. The Karori is due from Lyttelton tonight to load for Westport, sailing tomorrow. The Koranui is due from Napier to-, morrow, and will sail for Dund'din Inter. The Waitangi is to go out to Te Whaiti for oil to-day. The Kennedy will sail on Monday for Foxton if sufficient cargo is available. While beating up the entrance of the harbour shortly after 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon, in the face of the strong northerly gale, the auxiliary schooner Echo carried away her inner jib. A tug went out and brought her in. The following steamers were expected to he within range of the undermentioned wireless stations last night :—Awanui Tahiti, Koromiko, Canadian Skirmisher.
