GERMAN MILITARY PREPARATIONS FRENCH PREMIER PROPOSES TO SEND TROOPS By Telegraph—Press Association— Oonyright (Rec. July 17, 11.5 p.m) Paris, July 16 The Government; in acknowledging agreement with the British Noto regarding the impossibility of a joint-pro-posal being presented by the British, French, and Italian High Commissioners in Silesia, accepts a suggestion that a committee of technical experts should prepare a report for the meeting of the Supreme Council on July 24. At the same time, Mr. Briand is furnishing London and Rome with particulars of German military preparations in Upper Silesia, and proposes before the meeting of the council to dispatch the reinforcements necessary to restore security and assure respect for the Treaty of Versailles. —Aus.-N.Z.
