BOWLS

A brief meeting of the Wellington Bowling Centre was held in the Wellington Club’s pavilion lart evening under the presidency of Air. AT. Hodgins. During the meeting it was announced that on July 26 Air. Alurray. -the centre’s tester, will give an address on the respective merits of the green and table tests. All howlers are invited Io attend. At that meeting bowlers will also be invited to record their votes for the centre’s representatives on the Dominion Association. There are six vacancies for the whole of the North Island and tho AVellington Centre is nominating Alessrs. F. Aleadowcroft and S. 11. Underwood. , At tho next meeting of tho centre the inter-club fixtures for the coming season will be discussed.
