A GOOD SUM RECEIVED. So far between -£3500 and .14-000 has been received by the City Treasurer in advance rates. Ratepayers are requested by tho Mayor to make an effort to pay at least a proportion of the anticipated amount, in order to make the city’s finance a little more elastic than it otherwise could be under the present conditions.
