LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Rugby League was held last evening, All. I’. C. Evans presiding. The following members were also present: Messrs. C. Aluiphy, li. Croghen, H. Langridge, 11. Tovey, M. Burke, C. Snow, anil E. Cooper. . The Auckland League wroto suggesting September 3 for the Auckland-Wellington game. The Northern League re u> le notified' that the date is unsuilaule, and other dates were submitted. As the Basin Reserve is not available for the League this season, the C anterbury return game is to be played o' Christchurch. Mr. IF. Langridge was appointed selector, vico Mr. Childs (resigned). Messrs. Tovey and Burke were welcomed as delegates to the centre. FIXTURES FOB SATURDAY.
