EFFORT TO SHUT OUT FOREIGN PIECE GOODS. Bombay, July 9. Piece goods merchants, at the invitation of Gandhi, mot to discuss whether they nre prepared to take a vow to deal in Indian-made piece goods only, and to abstain from ordering piece goods from foreign countries. As the result of the meeting, up lo the present six only out of forty merchaiits have taken the vow. The others have not. yet decided. —Reuter.
