A London cablegram states that Mr. Massey, at the Imperial Conference, in criticising the wireless telephone proposals, complained that it would be impossible to sp~ak in code. Mr. Lloyd George, leaning towards Mr. Hughes, interrupted, saying: "We could. AVe speak AVelsh!” Tire Australian Prime Minister, Mr. Hughes, has been invited to visit Bath on July 23 to receive the freedom of the city. It is considered likely that Mr. Hughes will pay a flying visit to Anzuc ■when returning to Australia.
