TWO COLLISIONS

Two collisions occurred during the week end. One between a tram car and a motor car occurred Saturday at the corner of Lnmbten Quay and Brandon Street. Tho motor car was driven by Mr. J. A. Taylor. lhe motorist had just driven his car from Brandon Street on to the Quay, intending to cross the road, to go down iho Quay, when he saw a tram approaching. He pulled up quickly, but the tram »trnck the loft front mudguard. The motor was dashed against a tram pole, and hadlv damaged, the radiator and mudguard being crushed. The ba'® °f tram standard was badly smashed. Litt e or no injury was done the team car, a d Mr Taylor escaped unhurt. A minor collision occurred between two motor cars near Lambton station later in the afternoon, hut no one was injured.
