BOOKSELLERS CONFER
Several remits of interest to 6ell 2 ers were dealt with at a oonforenco of booksellers yesterday, over which Air. South presided. The conference was representative of practically every town of importance in the Dominion. The con - ference. which ,consisted of *l™ t forty delegates, adopted the attitude that the Government should not airange to I plv school requisites to schools. Rein live to this, the conference decided to form a deputation to the Minister of Education this afternoon Ihe ence decided to form a Dominion Booksellers’ Association, of which Mr. Coventry , of Messrs. Whitcombe and Tombs, was appointed secretary.
